Ken Blyth
Guitar/Vocals
When playing live the musical influences are obvious, Rockabilly, Country and good ole
"Rock n Roll". As an avid Buddy Holly fan and having a great appreciation for music of
the 50’s & 60’s, it is an ultimate high every time we put on a show. Learning a lot in
the last 10 years Ken thanks Rainstone, Shakey & The Blue Notes and Reminiscing for their
encouragement and most of all musically, Rob Moore for his endless patience, guidance
and faith in starting this band after seeing Ken’s first performance. "I think I've come
a LONG way since C.C".
Eric Newton
Drums/Vocals
Born near Newcastle upon Tyne, England, Eric can still recall how he learned to play drums
by tapping along to tunes from the radio, much to the annoyance of his family.
After plying his percussive trade in various pre British Invasion bands in England he
immigrated to Canada. In 1989 he formed a band with some other Brits to play classic
rock n roll. Playing with “Reminiscing” allows him to perform some of the tunes he heard
in his youth those oh so many years ago.
Eric was influenced by Buddy Rich, probably the best drummer ever and Ringo Starr. His
favorite vocalists include Ray Charles Sam Cooke and Delbert McClinton.
Lorne Feld
Bass/Backup Vocals
Lorne started playing and studying bass with George Botly in 1973. Over the years he has
been the bassist for Jester, Fable Manor and Washbrook & The Warriors. Between the years
1981-1989 Lorne enjoyed doing session work for other artists and bands.
Inspired by the greats, James Jamerson, Paul McCartney and John Entwistle, he treats everyday
as a new learning experience. Lorne likes to play different styles of music when sitting in
with fellow musicians and encourages other players to do the same.
His best advise, have a great time creating music.
